Film Openings Research.

In my opinion i would give this a level 2, they haven't used a range of different camera angles along with the lack of rule of thirds for the investigation scene, this isn't that much of a suspense themed opening scene, it's not engaging either and the acting is rather poor which emphasizes the jolting camera.

In my opinion this would be a level 4, they have well thought out the way in which they wanted the titles on each slide, it is discrete but also affective, the music in the background also adds suspense and is well linked in with the theme of the opening, they have used a range of different camera shots including some close ups, they have stuck well to the rule of thirds, as well as speed well flowing, it adds great suspense and the ending makes you what to see what is next to come.

Dexter Re-make.

This is mine and Danny's re-make of the Dexter title sequence, this was to practise our cinemaphotogrphy, rule of thirds, match on action, as well as working on white balance, exposure and focus. This was helpful for me as I learnt how to do things with the camera better than before. However we did come across some difficulties as two of our group members dropped out on us so we were left to do all the filming and editing ourselves this meant we are not giving them any credit for it as we did all the work to create this final piece.

Evidence Of Filming For Parity.

Pie Chart.

This is my pie chart of input for our group production, I feel that Peter and Benn share out the work equally between them both however I am lacking in the input and I do need to try and pick up some of the work to contribute better.

Location For A Thriller Film.

I chose this as a thriller location as it's dark and gives you a sense of mystery as you don't know what might be on the other side of the darkness ahead.
